Surf spot located near Genoa that’s mostly known as a left-hander but can provide also right waves. The best conditions for surfing here are with swells from the south or southwest and wind from the northwest, north, or northeast. The area became noteworthy in the 1970s when Italian surfing pioneers began exploring these waters, marking Bogliasco as one of the initial centers of the Italian surf movement in the 1980s.
